Visium HD is a spatial transcriptomics technology developed by 10x Genomics that enables whole-transcriptome profiling of human and mouse tissues at single-cell resolution. It features a novel slide architecture with barcoded oligonucleotides arranged in a continuous 2 × 2 µm grid across a 6.5 × 6.5 mm capture area. This design allows for significantly higher-resolution capture and analysis of gene expression data compared to earlier Visium platforms, providing researchers with deeper insights into the spatial organization of gene expression within tissues.
